The primary functions of the administrative branch include regulating and monitoring of all the procedures of the municipal corporation, managing issues of corporation employees, keeping up of RTI applications and administration, following procurement process for the corporation, implementing laws or orders of Gurugram corporation and to following through execution of all the notifications to be answered and many other important functions.
Engineering Branch of Gurugram Municipal Corporation
The engineering branch of Gurugram Municipal Corporation is headed by a Superintendent Engineer or Executive Engineer. The primary functions of the engineering branch include collecting monetary resources from Government of India, Government of Haryana state and other institutions for development of city infrastructure, devising the estimations and to bring about administrative commendation and technical endorsement of developmental functions, conceptualization, execution and supervising of infrastructure projects frequented by Government of India, Government of Haryana state and other institutions, supervising development efforts of Gurugram Municipal Corporation, organize guideposts, process and model for conception and upkeep of several civic conveniences that falls under the municipal area of Gurugram and many other significant functions.
Town Planning and Building Branch of Gurugram Municipal Corporation
The town planning and building branch of Gurugram Municipal Corporation is headed by a Chief Town Planner. The primary duties of this branch include town planning and urban planning, regulations of usage of lands and constructions in the city, preparation for economical and societal growth, issuing approvals for commercial, residential, public and industrial buildings, regularization of unauthorized settlements, issuing of damp proof course, completion and taking possession credentials and many other responsibilities.

The accounts and pension branch of Gurugram Municipal Corporation is headed by a Senior Accounts Officer. The primary functions of the accounts and pension branch include preparation of city budget, maintaining of account books, planning of salary bills, contigent bills, pension cases of municipal corporation employees, submission of tax returns and so on.
Land and License Branch of Gurugram Municipal Corporation
The land and license branch of Gurugram Municipal Corporation is headed by a Land Officer. The primary functions of this branch include regularization of advertising, conceding license for erecting mobile phone signal towers in the city, sales and purchase events of land, rent collection from respective sources and so on.
Tax Branch of Gurugram Municipal Corporation
The tax branch of Gurugram Municipal Corporation is headed by a Tax Officer. The primary responsibilities of this branch include imposing of property tax, vehicle tax, house tax, development tax, fire tax and sustainment and development of the economic value of all properties committed to the municipal corporation, fulfillment of other responsibilities levied by or under this branch and many other functions.

The health and sanitation branch of Gurugram Municipal Corporation is headed by a Chief Sanitation Officer. The major functions of this branch include cleaning of streets, garbage removal, solid waste management, limitation and prohibitory sale of debasements and many other sanitary related functions.
Legal Branch of Gurugram Municipal Corporation
The legal branch of Gurugram Municipal Corporation is headed by the District Attorney. The primary duties of this branch include dealing with court cases and appeal cases pertaining to the corporation, providing legal advice to corporation employees and so on.
Information Technology Branch of Gurugram Municipal Corporation
The information technology branch of Gurugram Municipal Corporation is headed by a Manager - Information Technology. The primary duties of this branch include monitoring and regulating the electronic media like corporation website, maintaining all data related to the MCG updated, providing necessary training to corporation employees and so on.
E-Governance of Gurugram Municipal Corporation

Some of the citizen services include grievances, birth and death certificate registration, issuance of marriage certificate, land tax, change of possession, RTI application, no due certificates, application for trade licenses, fire applications, e-tenders and so on.
